MP3 player does not pick up at PC

Hi! I have a problem with my old Grundig MPaxx 700 mp3 player not showing up. It is 1gb size and has Fat32 filesystem (if i remember right). It does not show up on device manager or anywhere.

So the thing is, the old desktop pc i had tended to freeze up alot, once it froze when i was copying files to the mp3 drive, so i restarted the pc and left the mp3 in thinking i will continue the copy, but if the computer booted up, it never got recognized again. May it have corrupted the filesystem? Is there any possibility to fix this?

This one does not have a data cable, a plug comes off the stick and then the mp3 is sticked straight into the port.
Oh, also i remember it had to be turned off to recognize pc, so when its turned on and i stick it to pc, it does turn itself off, so it might get some signals but i have no idea.

Have you tried it on another PC?? If it doesnt work then its most likely the mp3 players had it.

mp3 players are real cheap these days so it shouldnt put you so out of pocket if you were to replace it
