Free software to test USB flash drive speeds?

Just bought two USB flash drive sticks, a PNY and SanDisk. I'm curious how fast they compare. What would I use to measure? Can do on either WinXP x32 or Win7 x64

Yes, got it and best part is no installation, it's a stand alone .exe file.

I started to upload some images of the results which were surprising, but company of the female persuasion arrived at my door before I could , will post tonight...

i use "check flash"

http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/...ck-Flash.shtml

designed for flash drives, helps to figure out if they have different parts of the drive at different speeds.

many cheap drives i've tested will do their rated speeds early on, then suddenly drop off to crap. this program tests the entire drive (slower than most fast tests) so it shows up.

I'll have to try that. Wish I could have posted the ATTO results, the 4GB PNY was much faster than the 8GB Sandisk, which had terrible write speeds compared to read, write was about 1/4 of the read speed. Whereas the PNY was about 1:2 ratio.
