4 double slot pci-e X58 motherboard

Hi everyone.

I'm in need of a new motherboard, as i got more gpus than my motherboard can accept. I'm using 3 gtx 460 for 24/7 folding (when the summer's heat let me), and i've got my hands on a gtx 275 co-op for a very low price, but my X58A-UD3R just can't accept 4 cards.

I'm searching for a x58 motherboard (brand doesn't matter, overclocking does!) which have room for 4 double-slot cards.

I could trade it for my current rock-stable gigabyte board, with or without cash to cover value/shipping cost difference, or simply just buy a new motherboard.

PM me your offers. I'm folding under the 111frodon name.

Thanks everyone!

The Gigabyte UD4P has 16 x 16 x 8 x 4 but not sure if it can actually handle 4 GPU's simultaneously, never tried more than 2 but the UD9 def does support 4 way sli......

I know there are a few option, but finding one at a decent price is another story...

I'm not paying 400$ for a motherboard that is 3-4 years old!

Have you been able to get both GPU3 and GPU2 working on the same board? I have not.

I did fold successfully with two gtx 460 and the gtx 275 co-op, using my current rig and the 285.79 driver. You might want to try it out.

Thanks Bogmali, but it is a little over my budget...

One problem with that....... the Assasin does not support 4 way SLi, only 3 way, it does however support 4x Crossfire.

It is solely for folding purposes, so x-way SLI is pointless. And gtx 460 stops at 2-way sli...

Ahhhhh right.... so are you saying that you don't actually need 4 double slots to populate?

Yes, all 4 pci-e slot of the assassin i just bought will be filled (my case will require modding though):
2x MSI gtx 460 768mb cyclone,
an ASUS directCU gtx 460 1gb
and an evga gtx 275 co-op,
for a total of 5 gpus folding in one rig.

Should be in the 55-60k ppd range, to which my i7 970 can add 80k, so 120-130k ppd in total if everything goes according to plan.
