Fine, i hope when the game is (in 1 year) finished it does, but i'm not going to tell everyone i meet that it's not worth playing it or see how it improves. I'm not here defending something like Auto Club Revolution, i think if the guys who made GT Legends & GTR2, etc. said his next game is intended to be a sim and then explain in a very convincing way why Shift was what it was, and because of that they try to develop the game they wanted to make without a publisher taking the decisions, then i'm sorry if in it's current form you think it's not good enough, i rather wait and see. And to me pCARS drivers closer to Race 07, GSC than to Forza, ACR, etc, and neither ACR or Forza are arcade games.

I don't understand why you have to come here every time i post something about pCARS, like if you have personal vendetta, you don't like the game, fine move on!

It only rocks if you're using a gamepad or don't drive sims, otherwise it loses it's composure.

As for the Leonus it is(or was supposed)to be actually licensed by Lotus,But they had like 15 cars to choose from.Looks like they lost it due to "WHO wants what" in game....Like I said early in the other post you had,They have no direction on wth to make.Great game just wish they would concentrate on one genre at a time. Also the AI is actually slower then i thought ,I have mine set to 100% and i still get a 10 second lead on them,Maybe broken in mine though,And to be honest I try to update it twice a month with the new updates in patch form and the full download at the beging of the month.

I am not much of a racing game fan right now but this looks pretty cool. Tell me about how you make money if you are a team member, or even a full member?

The game is entirely founded by the devs and the community, 30% from SMS and 70% from the members. Once the game ships and start selling on PC, PS3, 360, (maybe WiiU and next gen consoles) you get a share, based on your toolpack, of the 70% of the profits. I can't say you exactly how much because it depends on how many copies the games sells and how many members there are.

I don't need to know how much. I understand that is an impossible guess. So would team members and full members get the same compensation.

No, since full members put 20 euros more their share is bigger.

I just wanted to confirm that because it is silly if it wasn't that way. I watch some gameplay videos. Killer graphics. The game looks cool but its not a game I would enjoy much. I am also a terrible driver in racing sims

Not of physics and FFB unfortunately, but time will tell.

I thought the physics and FFB weren't bad in Shift 2 which is the assumed "baseline" But yeah I would have hoped by now they would be putting more effort into improving and leaning more towards "sim" by now.

Hmmm, for me, both Shift1/2 had issues with cars being floaty and swaying....not all cars, but enough to never bother with the games again and be wary of the claims of "advanced/best physics ever" etc.

I also don't think they have the time to actually build proper physics for 50+ vehicles, so I have extreme doubts about this being a sim, but it may end up a decent racing game for those with game pads.

The developers of proper and proven sims, always talk of how time consuming the physics are for each car, and if you build your physics model around a standard set of numbers and up or downgrade relative to weight and power for example, the cars could drive well, but in theory won't be as realistic as building them by hand delivering a full set of physics to cater to every detail of the car beyond weight/power.

Well it's not their first rodeo, they DO know how to make a good sim(GTL, GTR2) I would like to think they will listen to the community(who want it more "sim") and well dig into their background and put some work into the physics.

I guess right now it is just the prettiest racing game out there now...
