First Water Loop Help

That is a super nice rad, I use 1450 rpm Gentle Typhoons on mine and it's whisper quiet and very effective. I think 1450 rpms is the sweet spot in GTs, too, as the 1850s make much more wind noise. I have my 1850s on a fan controller, but find no need to undervolt the 1450s.

I'm not sure where you are seeing the compression fittings listed in the sale, but you have the mechanics down pretty well as to the way they work.

Looks pretty nice. The Bitspower barbs you listed aren't needed, since you are already getting 8 compression fittings, 6 with the kit and 2 for your GPU, but I'm guessing you might be planning on ditching the compressions for clean looking barb fittings. Are the three extra fans for push pull? You may have some clearance issues with your motherboard in that setup, but maybe not. I have my RX in push pull, too, but XSPC markets them as being designed for single side use. To tell the truth, I've never noticed any difference from when I only had it set up from push, but I had the extra fans

The only thing you will need is 12 more screws to mount your other fans, they should be 6/32s, which you can get at any hardware store.

The NZXT Switch 810 said it had I think 90mm of clearance or around there. If there's not much difference, then I can ditch them. Less wires for me. I thought the compression fittings go over the barbs instead of a clamp. I assume that's wrong? I also looked at some 6/32 screws and found 1 1/8". I looked it up and it seemed longer than the 30mm ones I would want, right? Thanks again. Almost ordering time!

You're right about the 810, I still had HAF X rattling around in my head. And, yes, the barb is included with the compression fittings, you can see it in the middle in the picture.

Now if I got the HAF X, could I leave the 2x big fans on top as pull and put the rad and the push fans under?

I've seen some nice 360+240 setups in the Switch 810. It looks like I'm going that route as well.

I'm going to want the bottom 240mm fans as intake as well, right? I don't think I want to do p/p since I'll have 2 rads. I know the top will be pushing out of the case. Do I want the 2 bottom fans pushing in or pulling in?

You should put the bottom rad with fans underneath as intake, all of the case base is dust filtered with removable trays.

That's what I thought, but I wanted to make sure. I've also decide to go with a white tubing I think. With an all black mobo, black RAM, black sleeves, black/nickel fittings and some white LEDs.

What size screws do I want for the 120x25mm fans for the radiator? I don't want to break my radiator. Is 6/32 x 1 1/8" the right size?
