Now ive done it, flashed vbios, screen wont turn on ....ugh

Becasue of some voltage issues Ive been having I decided to flash a new bios to my Sapphire 7850.

So i went here: http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/i...E&memSize=2048

and downloaded the one at the bottom, the one with the clocks at 860/1200. I used winflash to do the flash, I flashed it, the screen went blank for 2 seconds came back on, winflash said I need to restart. So i restarted and the computer turned but the screen did not.

How do I fix this?

ugh...........

If you have onboard video - you can use that to use your computer. Otherwise what you'll need is a different GPU you can use on your computer.

Then what you want to do is flash the original BIOS back on your non-working GPU....you did make a copy of the original BIOS, didn't you?

Yes, I made a copy of the original bios but when I try to use the onboard graphics the screen is blank. I have a gigabyte z77x mobo and catleap 27.

Reset your Bios to make the onboard GPU functional.

Maybe you have to pull out the dedicated GPU then boot and set the onboard GPU primary then put the card back in.

Rare, but it is possible I think that maybe, just maybe, the flash could have fried the card. You said you were having voltage issues, the last thing an unstable card needs is to have it's BIOS messed with... just my opinion.
