Without spoilers, you can get it later in the game. The Jester outside the farm (Cicero) plays a role in a significant arc of the story later. You'll need patience though...

Played for a bit last night. There were vampires coming out of the woodwork.

Saw a vampire master and his thrall pick a fight with a bear and the bear won.
Saw another pair of vampires attack some vigilants of Stendarr, vamps lost again.
So far, not impressed with the vampire race in the expansion.

Haven't travelled to the Dawnguard outpost yet, saving that for tonight.

if you've played all the way through you should have gotten it when you killed Cicero

I can't get it! I clicked on the Dawnguard DLC link on Steam last night, and it says I'm "not authorized to view that page"!!! What gives? Anyone else have this?

I haven't yet bought the Dawnguard EP but I noticed 10 or so more achievements were added to my Steam achievements.

Weird that they should be added when I didn't even buy the EP..

I know this sounds elementary, but you sure you put the right date of birth when asked?

Yes BP...quite sure, LOL. Thanks for getting my anger at Steam moved down several notches tho. (thumbs up!). It's actually the first thing I thought of and so went back and did it again. Oh well, I shall check again this evening.

19,99 € is a little high for me,but i will wait and see what people think about the DLC and may give it a try later

Have you entered your age incorrectly?

Just close out of steam fully, and restart. When you're asked your age go ahead with something that can actually purchase rated M content (or whatever it is locally).

Apparently stepping away from it for a day worked (and re-starting STEAM). This time it all went as planned!

If your character is married to Aela, and you don't want to lose her to the Dawnguard spouse eating Bug, then check out the following:

If you leave her at a house, when you are teleported from Lord Harkon's castle, she teleports inside, completely unreachable. If she is accompanying you, even though she gets left outside when you go in, then she will be there...although you can see the game trying to teleport her inside the castle for this circumstance. I did this twice each way. Not accompanying you...missing from everywhere, and her marker shows inside. Accompanying, she doesn't disappear. So pretty much, you HAVE to take her on this leg of the journey
