I bought Nexuiz when it came out, so I'm not competing.

Yeah, while you can see how it's more or less a copy of UT2004 with great updated graphics, which I think is fine, it doesn't hold a candle to it in terms of gameplay. Seriously, it's nowhere near.

UT & UT2003/4 are unbeatable in my experience and UT3 was disappointing. Those two games have a certain star quality that no other arena shooter I've ever played can match. The only games I've ever liked as much were Half-Life 2 and EP1 & EP2, but those are linear stories, so therefore run out of content and have limited gameplay. The multiplayer on HL2 isn't as good as UT, in my opinion.

Anyway, it's still worth competing and respect to theonedub and INSTG8R for making this competition happen.

I was online late last night, and there really wasn't many servers up and running. One that I jumped in had two others in it. That was the only server that actually had other players in it.

Hoping that there will be more in tonight earlier in the evening.
