I remember reading about this in Maximum PC and CPU magazine. Im glad they are doing this and timings look great. Im sure you can OC quite well. $500 is a tad high, but considering you pay between 200 and 350 dollars for 2gb kits, its a damn good deal.

If it was only a little bit cheaper, I would sell my RAM and get some of that, but buying two is a 1000$, but its 8GB....

I dont mean to go off topic, but the Buffalo Firestix at newegg are on sale for $185. THere is also a $15 off code when for paypal (when u pay via it). And Newegg has a $20 off code (which can be found at Hardforum.com) So you can get a 2GB kit of this stuff for 185-15-20 = $150 and another kit for $165. I think that is an awesome deal. 4GBs for $315 sw33t.

Nice timings, looks very pretty, but why would I buy 4GB when I can barely afford one?

Thats a huge amount of fast ram.... not entirely sure it would make much of a difference in performance though. Running 1gig on XP and you almost never use the whole thing, running 2 gigs in vista is the same deal but 4 gigs? I guess it all depends on the resources crysis will end up using :P
