how can i say my cpu is 2500k or a 2500?

Hello everyone.
this might sound silly but , i myself have'nt had a 2500k or a 2500 befor till now . now i want to know if there is any sign of their difference that could help me identify my cpu.
i would be very thankful .

Download a little program called CPU-Z from this site. It'll give a full read out of everything

Get the .zip file as you won't need to install anything

Another alternative is you could go into your BIOS and see if it lets you change the multiplier Lots of different ways to tell.

You could check out a program called Speccy if CPU-Z is to complicated for yah :P

Or even the old boy! Everest Home Edition

I'm going to go with the 'if you aren't sure then you've got the non-K version of the chip' method.

Not exactly scientific, but I'd be almost certainly right.
