Bent video card pin

Anyone know how to fix these? My 6 pin PCI-E connector won't snap into my card, but rather rests on the pins enough to make adequate connection. I've tried using a double Molex to PCI-E adapter to rule out the connector on the PSU, but I got the same problem. One of the pins on the card look a tad higher than the rest, but I'm not sure if that would cause the plug to not snap into place.

try wiggling/rotating the offending wire on the pci molex connector(on the psu) it happens at there is a metal pin in the connector sometimes they aren't centered and refuse to line up(cheap adapters are KNOWN todo this so try it anyway) else you can try and use a paper clip or something to GENTLY center the pin on the card its farily common for them not to snap in all the way the have been known to require a bit of force but if its working I would't bother after enough cycles it will behave better

I did what you suggested, took a little bit of trial and error but it finally worked. I applied pressure to the wire with the funky pin while twisting it, made a loud electrical popping noise once it had finally made connection (I assume) restarted the PC and it worked!

Turn the PC off (shutdown) and unplug it from the mains power before doing stuff with the hardware. Common sense.
