This is kind of when I wish I still had my PCI GeForce FX-5200, not much can be slower than a 66 MHz 486 DX2+32 MB ram+XP.

Well, time to go dig out the old Athlon XP machine...I'm using a Mac here.

hi guys,

regarding to one of the rules : All scores with N\A FPS won’t be accepted and the scores must be higher than 0,00FPS,

i got this result

my 3dmarks scores

is it valid or not?
because i got N/A Scores on : "60 sounds N/A"

need any advise from you here...

only game tests matter, you can just press escape after nature and it will still be valid

Okies, probably quite bad this is my first post for an old account, but nevertheless I tend to lurk a lot more than I post here.

I'll take a crack at this tonight, I have a rig I'd love to do something with.
Is there any specifics on OS? At current said rig I'll be using still has Win8 x86 Dev Preview..

(Edit, I doubt I'll be able to get approved drivers mind you...)

Have you tried toying around with it using MSI Afterburner after following this guide to allow unofficial overclocking?

New to TechPowerUP Forums but I joined in because of the Pimp My Rig competition, seems to be the one of the four to best suit me. Hi to you all and good luck in "benchmarking". :P

Got my score down to 20 but having trouble with the last of the four game tests. The first three get about 0.02-0.03 fps but the fourth keeps hovering around 0.5. Don't really know what to do to get it down further without ruining the other tests so they don't get enough fps to produce a valid score...

I don't think there's any point in participating anymore since rules say first submission will win if more share lowest score - and there are already people who managed to get 1.

Lol do you also have a hard time with the pc locking up? Or do you set a time for the other stress apps you are using? Finding it sad that commandline options are not available for 3dmark if you are using the free version T_T it is hard to get out of the test with my pc locking here and there

Well not like it's gonna matter... It's easy to make applications non-thread safe. If overclocking and underclocking is not allowed then people would just need to run more instance of the additional apps to saturate the clocks.

Well, the first system I decided to try. Just because. Didn't work...
3DMark 03 threw up errors and suggested I used 3DMark 2001!

Intel Coppermine @ 667MHz
STB Blackmagic Voodoo 2 12MB
2x 32MB Hyundai 133MHz
Windows XP x32

So, that ruled out. I'm going to go back to my original plan and try the system I had in mind originally..

Athlon 2000 XP+ @ 1.67GHz
2x 1GB Kingston 200MHz
ATI Radeon 9500 Pro (or 9200 SE to test)
Windows 8 Developers Preview x86

Also, something for you all to have a quick peek at, the above system running with only 128MB RAM ~
