Using a 3pin splitter to do 2x fans per? I would not see why this has anything to do with the pump, think of it like this, you are making a Electric Circuit, it goes in a circle, as long as your Motherboard ect. does what it should and supply a adequate amount of power to the header theres no reason the pump/fans should suffer. As we do know adding more to a circut can reduce performance, it would take alot to do so from a mobo/PSU together. |

I know how its setup, and I stand by what I just said.
dunno why not just use 4pin molex to 3pin though and what not. Im positive though it should not decrease pump performance and anything else. Because think of it like this as I said with the 4pin molex, You can stack like 20 fans together with them, and still not see a difference, as you can keep connecting a 4pin to another 4 pin to another 4 pin to another 4pin ect. The same concept for what you are trying to do so to say, you are just adding onto the connector to make it viable with 2 fans. per connector. |

molex suck and are ugly as sin the 3pins are just sexier and easier to deal with that and fan controller for fans makes the molex redundant anyway.

Motherboard fan headers can only handle 1a of draw as a general rule. So I would guess with one fan and the pump you are pretty close to that.

If you really are cautious just get a molex to 3/4 pin and do a Split on that, nothing a backpanel for cable management cant handle. I just really did not want to bring the h100 up though :-\ Also I read 1a is Old motherboard specifications, it may have changed. |

Dam, Hope you do an international or Asia Pacific one soon. All the Aussies are missing out
. I'd love to review a thermaltake product. I'm probably going to get an Armour Revo snow edition and a Frio OCK for my next build. Thermaltake is great quality, and yet everything is expensive in Australia, thermaltake are still one of the cheapest.

hey guys, pump is very low draw and have yet to find a fan header that could not hold the Water 2.0 Extreme unit
![]() all in all the power is fed via 3 pin but the brain inside the pump unit modulates fans according to profile selected or liquid temp. |

Thanks for all of the help and involvement guys....
as many of you know I have parts trickle in here and there.... and I get you guys involved in whatever I can, but please bear with me as the attendance of the MyTake program has far exceeded what I expected and I do not get as many samples for review as I have members so I have to select ![]() I will try to get as many of you involved each round as possible!
