PC turn on, but no graphic on monitor
I just recently did a cable management and changed my thermal paste on my CPU. I have connected all the cables to the mobo, HDDs, and etc. When I turn on my pc, everything start normally, but it doesn't show anything on the monitor. I tired using on board video and still the same thing. What's the problem?

Try unplugging the PSU, flipping out the battery and pressing the power button to drain the system.
reinsert the battery, plug the PSU cable back in and power on. |

Power cables hook up to your GPU?
4 Pin CPU power? Check all your connections Remember if you use your integrated GPU to change the DVI/VGA cable to the right connection Those are the mistakes I make |

Hi,
perhaps check with an other dedicated videocard or other monitor, rule out which one is the culprit of the problem. Also check the 'source' on the monitor via the menu on it (maybe it's set on other source?). |

Oh dammit, I don't have another video card and another monitor. My old monitor just broke on me last week.

Since you are getting no signal through on board as well, I think it would be safe to say it is not the graphics card.
It the motherboard making any post beeps? |

Hi,
since you say you also have tried using onboard video, then does this you actually can go into the bios to switch between dedicated videocard and onboard which means you have display when you are in the bios? But you are not getting any display when you are in Windows OS? |

Anyway, do you have display while posting the PC and in bios, or you do not have display at all, but can hear the harddrive is actually booting into windows? |

could be
1. your board is dead 2. your psu that in trouble 3. everything is ok just loose or miss cable personally i think is about the cable since your pc before you did cable management is fine if it turn on for several second, maybe you have short circuit

Perhaps try to clear cmos (I know you have removed the cmos battery) with the jumper method (JBAT1 on the motherboard) and left the jumper for while, and then remove the jumper before you go further.
And have you tried re-seating everything, but now with less hardware/components? For example just motherboard + cpu + 1 stick ram + PSU + monitor, preferably after clearing cmos. Maybe also check on the cpu if it doesn't have a bent pin. |
