i never really had an ASUS 7950 DCII my name is that because i liked it for a WHILE.
So what your saying is that a Msi Radeon 7950 Twin Frozr III is better than a GTX 660ti?
these benchmarks show otherwise: ( i like bf3) http://www.anandtech.com/bench/GPU12/400
find benchmark with an oc 7950 and you see the difference xd.

Looks like 7950 and 660Ti are pretty much the same, but can swing to one side or the other depending on game. 7950 would probably have a better overclock, but this only matters when overclocking, irrelevant when not.

Plenty of people get the Twin Frozer III and not overclock it. Lower fan noise, slightly better performance for slightly more price (about 5% more expensive for 5% more power compared to stock), etc.

These benches show otherwise too:

MSI 660 Ti OC BF3
http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/M...Edition/8.html

ASUS 7950 DCU II BF3
http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/M...ozr_III/8.html

Couldn't find a bench showing both OCed on the same game, but this shows the 660 Ti substantially beating a stock clocked 7950 in BF3 when OCed.

I take these AMD is better testimonials with a grain of salt quite frankly. They're usually biased due to the Nvidia voltage lock, but in this case, that doesn't even apply. MSI was one that decided to opt out of the Nvidia warranty and go ahead and unlock it.
