Just bought it, 1st video was entertaining, 2nd video sold me (especially when like 6 guys died to a since trebuchet ball). I've loved the idea of that kind of combat, but I haven't found a game that has done it right or felt right yet. Chivalry on Steam was pretty fun, but so Rock, Paper, Scissors like. And Mount and Blade was decently fun, but just felt like something was missing, I loved their melee idea, is a great concept, but pulling it off in combat is not very easily done.

This really does look epic, so I hope it is, will post back later with what I think.

A whole lot of decapitations and dismemberment, and 1st or 3rd person: looks to be fun. Good thing it's not Call of Duty Medievil Warfare

Yep, it's bloody. I picked it up, played a few rounds, was really fun. I made an intro video to the game, if anyone hasn't played and plans to, when I played the Multiplayer didn't find servers because the game is so new. You can opt into the Beta on Steam or download a file (link and directions are in the details on my video).

Same people made it, thats why This is their first commercial game, and it's got a lot beyond what that mod had. Comparison between just the graphics below.

The game is so much fun! And so brutal, especially in free for all. If anybody plays, add me on Steam: Guitarrassdeamor. It is so hard to get people to work together, but when it works it is awesome. For instance, me and a friend were trying to kill the king, so he took a knight with a shield and I took a man of arms with a firepot. There were so many archers (which are annoying as hell BTW) and so he took the big shield and I ran behind him with the firepot ready to light the king. I hit the king but unfortunately our team was retarded and couldn't do anything so both of us couldn't save the team by ourselves. It is fun though!

Just to let you guys know, I bought a server. It is in Europe, so if you're in the US like me you'll get maybe 150 ping, but it was $10, so I'm not complaining! Still likely going to end up grabbing a 64 player server from BlueFang.

" Guitar's Server - TO and TDM Rotation " (GT isn't recognizing it for some reason)

Got up my 2nd video covering the game so far. Taking a look at TDM and some Basic Combat Tactics.

I'll have to check it out sometime, I usually play the hours when Euro servers are the most popular.

That is with an "e" as the first vowel, and what 3870x2 said.

and not related to chivalry, which basically meant whatever one wanted it to mean in past ages (it is not meaning the same as medieval (nor modern) version of "courtesy", albeit I don't know what it was actually). We largely base ourselves on the image of the Middle Ages as sketched during the Victorian (or so) age.

I think it will never be "accurate" because 1) it has to sell and 2) there are probably certain things that are impossible to implement. So it will always be bullshitted a bit, on purpose.

So, sometime later, is anyone playing this game? I just bought it few days ago and it's quite interesting. Difficult to master but interesting. Will probably take some time to become really good at it as its really hard to even hold 1:1 KD ratio. But still, in all the floods of first person shooters, sword slashing game is a bit refreshing.

If anyone else is playing it, maybe we could hang together in fights.
