System Specs

Is this ram compatible?

My system specs aren't exactly up to date. Was thinking of upgrading to a newer chipset and I've got this ram
G.SKILL PI Series 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM...

I just wanted to know if it'll work with the newer chipsets and also curious if my cooler will work on the lga 1156/1155 and what's currently the best todays equivalent of the 920. Thanks in advance.

that will give you an idea about motherboard compatablity, just scroll down. However it is a standard 240-pin ram module, dont see any problems as long as you look closely at the motherboard specs before you buy it.This should be fine running on most modern boards.

RAM should work, cooler most likely not unless you will use a mainboard/cpu with the same socket. It's Intel you know.
