i5-2500k @ 4ghz how low voltage is possible?

i am trying to see how low voltage is realistic to go down when my i5-2500k is running 4ghz, normally i do it at 1.150V in bios, but i wanna see if it's possible to go lower than that.

i hit my wall at 1.115V than about max 10mins of Prime95 i get BSOD, but is there anything more than CPU PLL i can actually set to stock instead of auto to ensure of a stable oc at low voltage on my Asus Maximus IV Gene-Z/Gen3.

i would luv any help i can get, bcs lower voltage = lower power bill when my system is on 24-7 ^^;

it all really depends on the specific chip and the board what they are capable of i dont thin kreally anyone can tell you specifically what your personal lowest is as they all difer, you must have a really good chip mines is @4.4ghz and it needs a ridiculous 1.38 to stabilize as for lowest voltage under load

white_phantom i think if ur i5-2500k needs 1.38V to do 4,4ghz r u sure the contact between the cooler and IHS good enough or maybe just ur AsRock board that's not good at giving the voltage it should.

before my ECS P67H2-A lost it's oc function my i5-2500k did 4785mhz on air at 1.38V stable.

and thx ino u can't trust the numbers on the Sandy Bridge cpu's and they r all difference but again this here is my first and only i5-2500k ^^

hmm looked like 1.115V even 1.120V was only Prime95 stable for 34mins, i hope 1.125V would be better.
