I paid nearly a $1 a GB for my 830's, I cant wait till these are so cheap a 1TB SSD is more competitive than mechanical.

I think I am going to buy this and put it in my laptop. Then take my laptop hdd and put it into my desktop with my desktop hdd in raid 0.

My desktop hdd is a WD black 500gb 7200rpm
My laptop hdd is a Hitachi Travelstar 500gb 5400rpm

Is it possible to raid 0 those drives? I thought you could only raid drives with the same model?
