EK Introduces its First AMD C32/G34 Water Block

EK Water Blocks, Ljubljana based premium performance PC water cooling gear manufacturer, is excited to introduce it's first AMD C32/G34 socket water block thus introducing high performance water cooling to the server and workstation market.

EK-Supremacy AMD C32/G34 is the ultimate water block for server- & workstation type motherboards featuring one or more AMD C32- or G34 sockets. Moreover this product also supports AMD's older Socket F. Included PreciseMount mechanism offers error-preventing, tool-less installation - the result is a perfect installation which results in optimal performance every time.

EK-Supremacy is a result of round clock development, years of experience and rigorous testing. As a new EK flagship this product again combines top hydraulic and thermal performance.

EK-Supremacy is a successor of the legendary EK-Supreme HF water block launched in 2010. It's main improvements are:

- better hydraulic performance: due to improved design up to 20% higher flow compared to EK-Supreme HF
- better cooling performance: up to 2°C lower CPU temperatures compared to EK-Supreme HF

The EK-Supremacy cooling engine uses similar, yet refined as per needs of modern microprocessors, fin design as its ancestor. The cooling liquid accelerates through jet plate's nozzle and turbulently continues its path through numerous very thin channels which provide extreme cooling surface area. Specifically designed and carefully machined copper base (sometimes referred to as 'cold plate') is made from purest copper available on the market and is further polished to absolute mirror finish. This alone greatly improves the cooling performance of EK-Supremacy.

CPU socket compatibility:
- AMD Sockets: F, C32, G34

Enclosed in the box:
- EK-Supremacy AMD C32/G34 series water block
- EK-Supremacy PreciseMount AMD C32/G34 mounting mechanism
- TIM / thermal grease: Gelid GC-Extreme (EKWB 1.6g)

The EK-Supremacy AMD C32/G34 series water blocks are readily available for purchase through EK Webshop and our Partner Reseller Network.

Eddy has been working hard. Hate the circle thing he has been doing though. Hope he gets over that soon. I liked the transformer EK look more then the circles.

It's their new imprint, branding. I don't dislike it, just that it leads me to believe their products are actually made of Swiss Cheese, not metal and epoxy.

I dunno, the circles have started to grow on me. They're much better looking in person.

That's what I was thinking. Somebody needs a multi-cpu enthusiast board based on these sockets.

AMD wont allow any motherboard manufacturer to "taint" the server market with 2P boards that can overclock. They believe it blemishes the server market. I have heard of companies ordering direct from Tyan specifically paying for a BIOS with all of the options unlocked, but we are talking large large companies spending a pretty penny.

Kind of it uses XMP profiling to force a higher bus speed in one specific modified BIOS via linux. I would much rather a 2P board that would allow BIOS clocking.

let alone 2 of them. I was looking at his 4p builds the other day. I was thinking of building a rig dedicated to folding using a few (3 or 4) gtx 560SEs. then I saw the power usage difference with his 4p build so i may go the multi cpu route, though I'll probably stick with 2 cpu for the sake of costs and the fact i'm not sure how well my new job is gonna pay yet. I'm still waiting on the interview

nice to know there's a waterblock for that socket now. even though i'll start with air cooling, i'll probably end up moving to liquid later in the summer (if my job works out)

If AMD would launch a slew of Unlocked Opterons in G34 at a reasonable clock rate id run 2x 8 Core Units, 32 GB 14900 DDR3, 2x Radeon 7870s, 3 SSDs, 1 Sound card
