Eww! What is it!?

Ok... The eww might of been for dramatic effect but... really what is this?

This XFX One is obviously some kinda amd card. It has 80 stream processors, 512mb ddr3, and it is pci. It is definitely a low power card directed more at older systems.
What is it? What chip does it got? I DEMAND GPUZ SUPPORTZZZ!

Bet it can't play crysis. Crysis is apart of all. LIES!!!

Still don't know what it is. The newegg page isn't that different from xfx's except the newegg one has a tiny passive heatsink.

Wait. There's more.

this is probably what the Radeon 7000-7200 was but for PEG, those boards were produced as a IGP replacement mainly or for low end machines that dont have IGP, or HTPC/ITX applications

Oh XFX, still cutting the memory bus in half just because you used DDR3. Who wants a card with 32bit DDR3 anyway?

I can't find this exact version on the English site, but if you click here to the Brazil site and then click specs it says it's a 5450 A12

It's a HD 7750. Follow the link, on micropage7's reply, and click on the spec. tab.

EDIT: Ok, so the "GAMING EDITION" (ON-XFX1-GAMC) is a HD 7750. The others don't specify what chip is used. I'm going to go with anything from 7450 to 7670.

Yeah, that version is a 5450 (A12) (whatever that means). So is the ON-545X-YRH2, ON-XFX1-DLX2 and ON-XFX1-PLS2.

That one sounds like the worse deal. STDs...

It's part of our moderator training. lol
Erocker is the master ninja, but it's a bit unfair as w1zz gave him a TPU neural implant.

A 5450 is a good upgrade for crappy integrated graphics, so their marketing is not too bad as it will handle everything better.

No, they would not be put off, but a non-geek probably has no idea what a 5450 is anyway.

The "Office and Internet edition" (ON-XFX1-OPIC) looks just like the ON-XFX1-PLS2, on the brazilian/USA site. So it must have the HD 5450 too.

It is indeed a good upgrade for IGPs, but a long way to make every game playable.

I guess that some peoples' definition of "playable" may be different than ours.

100% right.
I was gaming on a 5450, besides an onboard one (AMD 740G IIRC), an Radeon HD 3450, Intel HD 2000, and currently my Nvidia GT 520 . not maxed and 1024x768 So yeah playable is more than everything maxed and >1080p with ~60 FPS

Because suck marketing works? Most people are not well-informed nor do they try to be well-informed. Look at how much profit Monster Cable, BOSE, and Apple make from people's ignorance.
