On the quest for solid red tubing!

I have my new build right around the corner and as I went to look for red tubes I was a bit disappointed with what I saw. Looking around at Fesser or Primochill, XSPC, whoever, it seems that all the offerings are clear red, or you can see the inside of the tube. I am looking for a solid version much like white or black tubing, and I am striking out bad at the moment.

If anyone knows of any around, please pop in a link.

This is what I do not want....

More like what I am looking for (of course in red)...

That looks like a solid lead, now if I can only get him to appease me and not take 10 days to get it to me

Yes it is my bad I only skimmed through the thread . The poly stuff is however different you could always request a sample of it from them.

You ever had any in hand? I'm wondering if these are too bright (more to orange) and wont match the Asus board that well, and maybe I should just go black or white.

I have not, but go look at the local hardware stores I am pretty sure the Lowes near me carries red opaque PVC, but in the wrong size (1/4?) the color should be the same. I strongly doubt it will be orange, but it will be a very bright red. I for one think that black compression fittings with opaque red tubing will look very nice and different.

red fittings, black tubing. +1.

Why fuch around? Not that muc hred on board, GPU, or whatever blocks u buy for the card. hints of red on board, board heatsink, pump...

I wouldn't even do full red sleeving.

NEvermind red fittings, anodized, might match the board cooler great too. Unless you watercool the board...but I dunno why ya would bother except for looks. VRm can do like 1200W, CPU needs about 120W.

that means I got to buy fittings and tube, I was just gonna stretch it on 1/2" fittings as the only thing I am cooling is the CPU will the Apogee Drive II.

Sticking with black leads in the TJ11, but I do only really see two fittings on the block, may be worth it for the bling factor. What looks sexy and still works in fittings?

@ dave directly....I don't have a CPU cooler that will look good on there for air coolers, and the swifty block has a red LED...lol

monsoon fittings. I think they are dangerden-made.

I kinda like koolance's too, for looks, but gold letting won't fit.

I meant the board. and the swiffy CPU cooler you can change out the plastic. But I digress, board is red/black.

http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=34534

anyway, black tubing, red fittings would match the board coolers more black then red...

Those monsoons are more of an electric red aren't they? Koolance looks like they will work, but no red

I'm also leaning to maybe white since all the tabs and clips are accented in white, too much?

It's a electric type red.. not a bold red like you want.

Edit, You can all ways buy the white Monsoon's and spray them red up top, with white accents...

I liked them, but you gotta check how you tighten them.. if you do to tight, your going to have fun taking the loop apart.
