Quote:
In order to remain at, or return to, the first stage of vampirism, you must feed on a sleeping NPC. To do this press Use while crouching or standing over them and select feed. Feeding should be done stealthily, as witnesses will immediately become hostile. You are able to feed on almost any NPC that can sleep in a bed, including all races and even ghosts and other vampires, but not children.

Children are even impervious to vampire attacks?! Next you'll probably tell me that they never sleep!

I don't visit the houses often so they're out of the way.
Let the rest of the adults in the house deal with them.

Anybody else getting jerky mouse movements? I recently started playing again(Borderlands 2 has been taking up most of my gaming time ) and this is annoying me to no end. It's enough for me to stop playing for a while...

Can't say I have jerky mouse movement in Skyrim.
I do have a strange jitter when in fullscreen mode which seems to be a common issue.

That's what I mean.
Any ideas on how to get rid of it?
I've tried multiple "Fixes" and the only thing that helps is disabling VSync, which then cause strange physics related glitches(flags and banners move too fast, touching a movable object cause health loss, etc.)

Set the game the windowed mode in the launcher close out then download Simple Borderless Window.
Place the contents of the the mod in the designated folder in the instructions, create a shortcut and launch from the shortcut.

I think that happens with Sli/CF

Used to happen to me on the 5970, but not on the 670 now.

I had solved it by running Bandicam in the background and capping the fps at 59.

No, i threw together a system for a friend and he's having the same issue with a single 6850.
I absolutely refuse to run in windowed mode. I'll deal with the odd physics glitches, but I'm looking for a fix for my buddy, as the same "fix" I used is not fixing the issue for him.

Simple borderless window removes the window.
It was originally designed for mod developers, but people also noticed the jitter disappears as well.
I have heard rumors in other forums it's an AMD thing.

I do not recall having the jitters in Skyrim until I started playing it on Windows 7.
Windows XP did not exhibit this problem with the same hardware.

It isn't really jerky mouse but the frame rate isn't where it should be, especially when observing the corners of the screen while turning fast. Even if the GPU never goes over 50% playing the game, it still does it. I think it's an issue with the game engine not handling motion efficiently so it skips frames that would otherwise make it appear fluid. I always get used to it by the time I'm done with the tutorial (which ends in Riverwood) and it doesn't bother me unless I take a long hiatus from the game.

oh i remember something about that, the games designed to render at 62FPS or something stupid, so it goes out of sync. something wrong with the engine, IIRC.

I never had that problem with SLI'd GTX 470's or my current GTX 680. I think it was an issue with AMD drivers and how the game was coded. Also you guys do have the most updated version with all updates installed right? Assuming you ahem.... didn't pirate it you should have it all installed.

I always have the latest updates in hopes that I wont come across yet another broken quest.

I do believe it maybe an AMD thing.
Just odd that this started happening on windows 7 and not XP.

At least I found a community solution to the issue.

I think that its another amd drivers screwup. Because with my cf'd 6770s I would get that occasionally, but not since I got my 670.

A lot of people on here seem to think it's an AMD driver issue, but I have read other forums and even people with NV cards are experiencing it, albeit less commonly. I think it's just another shitty Bethesda issue.
If TES series wasn't so good, the constant bugs would put me off of BethSoft forever. I honestly can't think of a single Bethesda game that isn't still riddled with bugs to this day.

Same here.
I mean come on.....there are some obvious and annoying bugs in this game which have been around since launch.
Some of those bugs are now affects Hearthfire.
