NZXT Announces the Kraken Series All-In-One Liquid Coolers

High performance liquid cooling has finally arrived in an easy to use, all-in-one package. NZXT releases the Kraken, the first premium all-in-one water cooler series for PC enthusiasts and gamers alike. The Kraken X40 and Kraken X60 are high end, all-in-one 140 mm and 280 mm liquid-cooling solutions where ease of use meets unmatched performance.

Applying its forward-thinking design philosophy to the water-cooling market, NZXT raises the bar with a userfriendly solution that brings unrivaled liquid-cooling performance to your fingertips. With 36% more surface area than standard 120 mm/240 mm radiators and fully interactive fan control, NZXT's Kraken series is nothing short of a water-cooling behemoth.





NZXT brings its innovative HUE controlled lighting system to the Kraken, setting a new standard for design and performance. Featuring premium black sleeved cables and extended 16-inch tubing for large tower support, the Kraken brings high performance cooling with an uncompromised look that any enthusiast will be dying to show off.

At its core, the Kraken features a state-of-the-art pump attached to an all copper base that is compatible with all of the current offerings from Intel and AMD. Included with the 140 mm Kraken X40 is one NZXT FX-140 PWM fan, with the ability to install an additional 140 mm fan for a push-pull configuration, offering unmatched cooling performance.

The 280 mm Kraken X60 features two NZXT FX-140 PWM fans, with the ability to install an additional two fans for a push-pull configuration as well. Additionally, the Kraken X60 utilizes a SATA power connector for easy installation and effortless cable management.

Really another Closed loop water cooling product! Seriously! If they want to impress me they need to improve the pump, Make larger tubing, and have a thicker rad. Once I see temps actually beat high end air cooling then I will be impressed. Until then I will stick with real water cooling.

This one likely will beat high end air cooling. It has a bigger radiator than the other ones.

More companies keep dumping their versions of this stuff onto the market but none of them advance performance forward. Really interested to see how the H60 revamp does since it looks like they finally tried to make performance improvements.

It technically isn't a monopoly. It's more a duopoly as Cool-It and Asetek are the only real players in this space.

And speaking of Asetek; damn, they weren't kidding when they said their partners would be announcing their new Gen-4 AIO coolers "shortly." This was just less than 12 hours later.

I don't like this whole re branding thing as in the end they are all the same for more money, but i guess its good as you could find the original ones e.g Asetek cheaper
(well at least that's in my case cause i know a shop that has the 570LC and 570LX cheaper than the only other way i could get them "online")

Here you go friend, Swiftech makes the Helix series of fans, they are meant to supplement the Gentle Typhoon and the fan blades look identical. It uses a modified sleeve bearing known as the Z-Bearing. There are three kinds, 120mm, 140mm, and 120mm PWM.

Asetek pretty much rule the market and afaik actually sueing Cool-it systems for using their patent so...
