but this game is huge. your talking a full world. it only makes sense that it has more bugs. sure you might think their are annoying bugs but "annoying" isnt going to EVER in ANY industry get the attention that critical "i cant see it" bugs get.

thats like saying skyrim is bad because it has more bugs then pokemon.

Probably so. We must overlook the epic fails to see the epic greatness.

I haven't been playing this much recently, but I just got a new monitor and I need to! Went from 720p to 2560x1440, lots of pretty.....

So you're saying it's totally fine for these bugs to be left in the game and for people to experience them?

To me annoying bugs are the ones which affect immersion and stop people from being able to complete quests.

e.g.
Quests which can not be completed and stop a player from progressing in another quest.
Characters reappearing even though they have been killed and sometimes multiplying in one spot.
Dead Dragons continuously appearing out of nowhere in specific areas.

yeah i do. i dont give a shit that once every 400 loads my character gets stuck in a rock. id rather that then an 8 GB memory leak. or have my CPU bleed tons of heat because they dont release AI algorithms on time.

oh no this vampire killed me and i was totally out of the hit box i hate this game

is more laughable then

i blew 70 on skyrim plus expansion and I get a stack over flow because a logic bug detects my L3 wrong and requests a memory segment that doesnt exist.

Stuck in the rock is no big deal to me either.
An autosave load and it's resolved.
That's on par with the occasional mammoth falling from the sky.
They don't potentially break quest progress and it doesn't happen all the time.

Minor bugs.

Pretty much what I'm saying. Minor bugs don't bother me, but when I have to start the entire game over again and again because a story quest is broken, that's absolute bullshit. That's the reason I'm just now progressing through Skyrim for the first time. Tried playing it a few months back and the opening sequence would bug out when the headsman approached the chopping block. The dialogue would play, but none of the NPCs would do anything but stand there. Starting over from the beginning nor reinstalling helped.
As far as Morrowind goes, yeah, it's still full of bugs, as is Oblivion and both of the BethSoft Fallout games. It can be frustrating, but as long as the bug/glitch isn't game-breaking, they can be tolerated.

I've actually not had hardly any game breaking bugs; the only one I can think of (in 3 1/2 play throughs) is the wolf queen quest, there were multiple skulls at the end and none of them were acceptable to falk to finish the quest. Oh, and I guess I had a guy who was supposed to die be invincible. But those are fixable

Luckily on the PC version you can use the console to set quest stages to pretty much bypass any bug or glitch.

But be careful. The console can do some disturbing stuff...

...that cannot be unseen

stalhrim and Nordic Mail are possibly stronger

Was known as Ice Armor in Morrowinds Bloodmoon Expansion
It was a Medium Armor with the same Defence values as many previous Heavy Armors

Then of course Nordic Mail was slightly better than Ebony Mail in Morrowind

In reality these armors will probably be Light and Heavy respectively with tweaked values with the Nordic mail possibly being considered around Ebony / Deadric in terms of stats Dragonbone might be stronger but my guess is not by much.

Essentially

Ice Armor 50 def value
Ebony 60 def value
Nordic Mail 66 def value
Deadric 80 def value

again based on morrowind info it seems this newest expansion is bring backing morrowind gear for the skyrim adventurer

morrowind if you can get past clunky animations and cluttered interface is the best Elder Scrolls game, and with mods added dynamic shadows and DX9 etc etc etc it looks pretty damn amazing only the character meshes look terrible lol

I bought Hearthfire last week. yesterday i decided to actually put it to use. I spent a good part of the later afternoon and into the night building my manor. It was time consuming but fun. I'm nearly done furnishing it and I moved the wife in etc.

Question: Is there a way to have all your goods moved from one house to another without having to haul them yourself?

God I'm dreading having to make all the trips.

My manor was attacked by a Giant. The bastard killed a couple of my chickens and my cow!

Anyway i dug this DLC and it gave me the home I've been craving for. Ever since I lost shit loads of my armor and goods from a mod house I downloaded, I refuse to use mods for storing my stuff.

In fact I'm not running any mods now.

That leads me to one last question:

I have this strange texture issue in the game. I've had it for a very long time and I've put up with it but I wonder if there is a fix? Dragons, some people's armor, candles and all sorts of other world items including some horses have textures that looks like a mesh screen and I can see through them. Anyone know anything about this??

I think I'll grab the other DLC: Dawn-Guard just to extend the game a bit more. I beat the main story a long time ago and I've just been doing other major quests and side missions.

Best way to me would be to use the console command

player.setav carryweight xxxx

Just put your carryweight to something ridiculous and grab everything you have and haul it away. Next time you load up your save your carryweight will be back to normal, no harm no foul.

Or just do god mode, makes your carry weight unlimited. Its "TGM" I beleive. Then when youre done just type it again to go back to normal, or just reload your save and its normal again.
