I did and it works. Thanks for giving the option not to use it/have to use an "app" to enter.

I was going to try it and it looked like I had to install an "app" so I went back to the page and entered it the old fashioned way.

First time, I clicked like, filled out the info, check the agree box and clicked "join the contest". Then I clicked on the TPU page button on the top.

Second time, after just reading your reply, I did the autofill and accepted the app, it filled in the info and I accepted again, then it said thanks for joining the contest.

I'm confused. Perhaps the "join the contest" should install the app (after "warning" you)

i think most people prefer to have the choice of not having to authorize an app to signup for a contest

Absolutely, I haven't ever installed a facebook app, except for now. What wasn't clear to me is if I needed to install the app to join the contest... so apparently after installing the app, I entered a second time.

we got methods to avoid duplicate signups

so far we will just show "thank you" instead of "you already signed up", so it's harder for people to figure out how to beat the system
