Good bye Danger Den!

This was just posted on facebook by FrozenCPU. Good Bye Danger Den.

On good note, anyone need some mass discounted water cooling products?

Never owned any of their stuff, but they were highly respected as far as I could tell.

Such a bum deal, I always try to order from them whenever I can. So much for the smaller manufacturers/retailers.

Wow they have been around since I started toying with PC's. They were top notch back in the day but I have not heard about them as of late... bummer to see a good name go.

That's rather surprising. Thought if they'd been around this long they would stay.

Too bad.

Water cooling is something I have been wanting to do but thought it too expensive. If I could get a decent loop for a good price I will do it. Your new loop is some inspiration. Prices don't seem to be 75% off, I wonder if it is only with reward points. Site is super slow to navigate.

Its showing the 75% off now and I think I will only be able to get some yate loons for cheap. All the best stuff is gone. As expected.

I was too slow. I had 6 yate loons and a 7970 water block in my cart. I checkout but my receipt doesn't show them or any charges for them. Those were what I really wanted. I did sneak out with some cheap thermal paste, a bay resivor, and 6950 block for 75% off. Out of stock of pretty much everything now. Site is down also.

This is why I bought a complete used loop to start out. Also there is no way to really "learn the ins and outs" until you have all the gear actually in your hands and can see for yourself how it fits together and actually works. Plus there was no chance I would order something wrong.

Me too, my first pump, rad, block and res were all used and all from different people on this site.

I have read enough where the only way to learn more is to do it. I was poking around on the FS threads last night looking for a pump and rad, maybe more to make a complete loop. Flow rate and fittings sizes are where I would be unsure of myself on. I have seen others with similar layouts and can copy their loops pretty much. Mxphenom has an identical case layout that I can copy.
