Danger Den Closing Shop

PC modding and cooling component maker Danger Den announced that it is going out of business. The announcement was made by its top brass. The group offered no more explanation than that they are pursuing other interests. On the bright side, Danger Den is running a fire-sale, with 75% off on all products purchased on its store, ending Monday (5th November). Bag a piece of Danger Den from its online store.

After 12 years our hobby has come to an end. It's time to pursue other interests and Danger Den will be closing its doors. Thank you for all your support over the years, we've enjoyed being part of your modding community. ~ Dan, Jeremy, Dennis, and Rokk

By this time guys, if you have not jumped on it since yesterday. You are pretty much picking up the scraps of what is left at Danger Den. All the awesome blocks and pumps are sold out.

Good lucking finding some stuff if you can get to the website. It's quite sad to see them go though. I owned quite a few of their CPU blocks and I thought they were great. Guess I have to go raid the Micro Center for the M6 on shelf.

Cheers to Danger Den, you guys had a great run and I know I'm sad to see you go.

As someone else said, another sign of the dying enthusiast PC market.

A friend of mine had a gpu block from them and still has it running fine after 4 years.

Respect for Danger Den! (still have DD gear)

They have made heavy WC gear before it was popular.

I vividly remember melting my DD peltier block.

Still have their full cover block on my 4870x2 that's floating around here somewhere.

Store is jam packed with traffic. So slow.

Update: Yey, I order a bunch of stuff that I don't think I need! Couple of reservoir, dozens of fitting, and a tube cutter. If the pump still available and I would of bought a couple of that too. The price are good but the shipping is a B****[spoil American with credit cards]

I had a 7970 block and 6 yate loons bought right our from under me as I went to checkout. I found out I did not buy them when I got email the receipt. I did escape with a reservoir, a 6970/6950 block, some tubing, and some thermal paste. I am a pump and a radiator away from gpu watercooling my 6950. My 7970 should be back from RMA soon though and I might just re sell the 6950 block. I don't know yet.

Their prices are still very expensive on most things. Like the DD pumps are still 60-80$ :/ I will miss DD, I have used their products for quite some time.

seems like some enterprising business folks should team up with a few engineers and build out a nice small company. the market is more open now after all.

it's sad to see them go, but I gotta admit their waterbocks are so ugly!!! Maybe that's why no body bought them.

They will be highly missed. My current CPU is chilled by DD. Will go down as a legend in the enthusiast modding community.
