I would love to say, the Inq-liar-er should make a reality check, but that would be in vain, I guess. I have a fully functional G80 here, on Vista. It's just the CONTROL PANEL that's buggy. And no DX10 SLI for non-existing DX10 games...

I do not use Nvidia....yet. Butt was HP bought all the Nvidia Quad Graphics just before Samsung leaked the death of Pele.The long red "Radeon" card that has been pictured as the "R600" is reported to be all Apple. MAC? Nvidia pulled support for NView....multi monitors. It does not seem that any more pressure is required. AMD.ATI appears to be folding and The "R600 fiasco" (my term) is my measuring stick. I have ATI Graphics in the box waiting for my next build. If R600 is not available to me by the end of march Then I will sell my AMD.ATI Graphics and Motherboards and move on.

I dont quite think ati will be leaving the pc market anytime soon..... though it is interesting to note how quickly its going to be avaliable on a mac :P

we made it to the end of the show...and so it seems that it was all about HDCP and privacy and Hollywood on Pensylvania Ave. the only thing that remains to be explained is HDCP and HDMI / HDCP and or HDMI. if this entire R600 fiasco has been about Intel's control and the imposition of HDCP then IS IT AND OR IS IT AND OR?

R600 is god damn powerful, the AMD "Show off show" Says it all, it uses only 200W. One Teraflop from a PC is honestly amazing.
