That is a pretty good deal. I have no need for it, but yeah that is a killer deal.

I'm tempted. I have an elderly Corsair TX750 folding/crunching on 2 GTX 460s and an FX-8150, and it probably should be replaced soon.

I bought this one last time around at this price to replace another psu so I could add another 465 in there. This thing is a beauty with a quiet fan, is fully modular, and has a nice PSU bag/cable bag with it lol. The only downside I have encountered is that the CPU 8 Pin cable is just a hair short so I had to use an extension.
Also no f*&^ing mail in rebates!!!!

Wow $50 off with the promo code. Just bought a new PSU too but fortunately not for a gaming build so didn't need so many watts (or to spend more than $50).
FYI, the Corsair Builders Series 500W is presently $30 (half off) with promo and after MIR but I read up on it a little and apparently not all that. I bought an Antec Eco 520 which is a good Seasonic unit with 40A on 12v rail for $45 shipped no rebate.

I ended up buying one of these just now. We'll see how it runs, although I expect nothing less than great quality from Seasonic.

Smart move. They do EXACTLY what a power supply is supposed to do. Provide gobs of power, in excess to their rating and do so with stability / excellent regulation. Only 3 things I wish they would do...
- Skip the super fancy packaging as it simply does not matter - their supplies speak for themselves - Use a more flexible wire - Use black wire as the units they build for Corsair |

I could also do without the branding/label. That's personal preference though. Fortunately was able to scrape the fugly one off my Antec with a plastic wedge tool I originally bought to open an iPod without scratching it (blocks of purple, yellow and red...oh yeah that matches the ol' case theme
).

I have same model SS-750 KM over about 1.5 year. I decide to leave that excellent unit for me like reserve PSU.
Silent, stable, little hotter because work almost always in fanless mode except during summer when I play games longer. Only cables are not all black and I don't like that and that Seasonic X sticker on one side is annyoing same like cables like abnormal people make that upside down... I leave for reserve because I can't fight with cables anymore, sleeve or not sleeve, suffering with sleeving or buying finished never so good, in future only PSU with cables like NEX1500, nothing else. But that is far future because I have for next few years. Last edited by Vlada011; Nov 1, 2012 at 11:36 AM. |

This is by far the best PSU I have ever owned. It seems to run passively under the full load of an FX-8150 @ 4.2GHz and 2x GTX 460s @ 825/2000. Blows away my old Corsair TX750 that was in that computer.

I have to agree. I currently have a SeaSonic M12D 750watt unit in my 4x4 system. It has been running that system at full tilt for almost 2 years, and it was slightly used when I got the power supply. I had some issues with the system for a couple of months however it ended up being a memory issue and nothing to do with the awesome power supply.
