Interesting, the gold ammo is twice as cheap as the ones in the test server. I don't mind paying 2000 for gold ammo for my Jagdtiger, Lowe, Tiger 2, as the silver ammo isn't cheap either, i'll go for a 50/50 balance for now.

Half price for you? That's not fair.

I have 400 credits per gold price. So 2000 per round on my SU 76 and 4000 for my SU 26.

The lower the tier is the less it is worth with some exceptions.

Tiger I 88mm L/71

silver ammo 252 per round
gold ammo 2000 per round

Jagdtiger 128mm L/61

silver ammo 1260 per round
gold ammo 2000 per round

with those prices i don't mind using gold ammo with the Jagdtiger, but with the Tiger I or Panther, it's quite expensive, especially with high RoF guns.

No doubt it's only reasonable to use for high tiers. What I don't get is why you seem to get a price of 200 credits per gold, rather than the 400 credits per gold I'm seeing.

To think that there are so many difference between the different locations.

Which should I get first: M4 or T1 HT? My other Tier 5s are KV-1 and Pz. III/IV.

While enjoying my SU 85B, I realised that I have much poorer situational awareness in it, than when I'm in my arty. :S

Went with the T1 HT. So now my current tanks are the following: KV-1, T1 HT, T-34, Pz. III/IV, M8A1, and Mk. III.

Cool.

Beginning to love my SU 85B quite a lot. Though I feel like I'm neglecting my SU 5. But that's probably due to the fact that there were nothing new from the SU 26, really. The only other gun option didn't sit too well with me. So it was just a downgrading step up. :S

AOP. PVP-NA is using our teamspeak server, clanpaku.org.

I poked in TS someone I'm assuming that is you, 3Razerhead.

Played 7 won 7 with Churchill premium LOL. I did 2126 damage in 7 games, even though I've only destroyed 3 in total. That's 303 damage per game in a tank whose "standard shell damage" is 56-94. LOL

Anyone tried the UK line yet? I took a look at what tanks were on offer and the first thing that struck me was how weak the guns were, even at Tier 7 it seems that at best they are equipped with Tier 5/6 gunnery. The heavies therefore seem painfully slow with little firepower to protect themselves.

At Tier 1 they have the best gun, at Tier 2/3 they have the best gun except for TDs of the same tier. Tier 4 is where it starts going downhill.

Matilda is armored enough to be a medium, but too slow. Its guns are barely more powerful than Tier 4 light tanks' guns. Crusader is another combination of a light and a medium but the other way around.

UK Tier X is not recommended for Clan Wars (arguably the only use of Tier Xs). For example, one of the UK Tier X tanks: gas tank and ammo rack in the FRONT!!!

I'm at Tier 6 both medium and heavy.
Mediums are fine, now I have a great time and fun with Cromwell. Paper armor and meh gun but speed and maneuverability are very nice. Gun depression OK too. So you can hit'n run/circle almost like frogs.

But both Churchill's are horror for me. When they're top tier is fine but when you're bottom oh boy is a pain. They lack speed and maneuverability (20 km/h top speed ), they lack gun depression, they lack penetration and alpha damage. they have some armor but only for their tier.

Dunno what to say, depends on everyone style but for now I'm enjoying more mediums instead heavy's (and I'm a heavy player usually).
