probably only geo location ads.
it would be stupid to show US only offers and other stuff for ppl in europe and elsewhere so some ads use geo location

Nah, the ads that were injected probably have a location feature that detects which region you reside in and serves you ads based on that.

Why can't we as smart as you all are here find this ass and hack "him" as well. Flood his ISP till they cancel his internet service!

OK so business A is paying business B to make legit ads by geo-locator.

Person C hacks websites to make them show the ads of B.

So B is paying C ?

Is there any way to find out who hacked TPU? Do you know any thing at all other than what they got?

If the ads were from google and google pays this person then could google determine who it is? I think they have awareness of what websites their ads are placed on.

Sorry to hear TPU got hacked. I find no fault with TPU or its staff though. My PW for TPU/GN are unique from any other web based BS anyways.

(I bet it was Trickson)
