Wizzards reviews and other staff are fantastic,[what a clever person!!!] they help anyone with anything and are very accesible and in my op theres not an exlusive mentality here either, i mean really, how ungrateful can some folks be really???

bloody crying children, give it a rest and just enjoy please, anything less is ungrateful!
Who are you? I mean you must hide in some dark corner of the forum cause I've never seen you before

Ive never seen you either, What does it matter who i am?, im not prying into who others are.sorry but the whinging is tiresome and boring.especially when folks gang up too which ive seen happen here sometimes,

Is this what the worlds come too, a generation of people who think they deserve everything for nothing, i couldnt care less to please anyone, and dont give a fig what anyone thinks either, its a public forum and i have the right to express my op so long as its respectful and polite, i apologise if the words" bloody crying children" offends, however, the responses to it prove my point in a way. if your getting offended its because it struck a chord with your own behaviour, otherwise, you wouldnt care as youd know its just the internet and it doesnt really matter anyways.

i could have used a word like -"SOOK"- lol. or "bitch" .hehe.

anyways, wish i could respond by getting all bent out of shape, but, il leave that kind of behaviour for the "bloody crying children" .

I will apologise for the remark about stupid children,
that was uncalled for and in hindsight, it was a bit rude on my part, its not the case,

my intention was to remind us all how good it really is here in general, nothing is perfect, i do like the folks here far as i know em, and the advice we get is really fantastic , [for free too]
stupid comment, humbly apologise to all-i take it back in full

regs frm me.

True, but without a place where people can air their grievances we would be less accessible.

Members should have a place to lodge legitimate complaints about the mods, and if you read through this thread it does happen once in every 50 pages or so.

Yes indeed K, I'm preparing my multi-page report against yourself. Well, it's more of a dissertation really and it does go on a bit.

Or, the biggest whingefest you've ever seen - quantum style!

I think mods should have a place to lodge legitimate complaints about members publicly. Though, the thread would just turn into a "talk about whatever" thread just like this one.

I do find it a shame that this thread is here for people to use and like most things it is abused.

Oh well.

I posted a story Sept. 3

http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=171617

However honestly there hasn't been all that much going on in the PC gaming world as of lately. That and I have been super busy trying to make ends meet at home. Most news has been about the WiiU. I have been staying away from WiiU stories to keep the front page from turing into flamebait central.

As for my name being pink and members "taking me in higher regard" thats not my issue. Honestly when I do give advice its very sound and from experience. Dunno why my name keeps coming up in the "whats wrong with our forum moderator staff" as I am not a mod. Never have been. If I'm all you guys (not you frick) have to complain about then I would say they mod staff is doing a good job.

If you have a complaint about me please post it here..

http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=69318

and leave this for the mod feedback and I will not be responding to anymore posts about it.

Moderators have no control over what software the forum is running.

420 great number as well

I also want to add that the hacking incident has been handled quite well by the mods / Wiz so far (unlike some other sites....)

I also can't help feeling that this happened because the software is so old. Every software has to be upgraded eventually and vB is no exception.

And I still despise the hacker that did it.

But then you appear to contradict yourself by saying that it's EOL. How do you know the software is as secure as the latest version? Even with your mad skillz (and I don't doubt them) to run a secure forum, all your efforts can be compromised by some pesky glitch in the software that no one knows about.

I'm glad to see that vB5 is coming to TPU.

Even with the most secure software sites and places still get hacked. The DoD still gets hacked from time to time and its security makes a forum look like childs play.

True, nothing's perfect. You can only strive for it and minimise the risks.
