Pickle: To upgrade or not to upgrade
So, I've been wanted to upgrade my graphics for awhile, but I hesitate as every time I look around, prices are constantly dropping.
My situation: - Upgrade to a 7950-7970 and man up - Add another 6950(flashed) or 6970 and crossfire. - Wait even longer, as a 6970 might be around $150 soon enough (I think). - Wait till Christmas / my January birthday (little more cash flow). Should I start clean and buy a single card when the price is right? Or just get another 6970 and xfire as the performance of games don't really outweigh 2 6970s yet.

Either wait for the sweet christmas and january sales on the 7970's (and man the hell up!) or simply wait for AMD's new 8xxx series cards which will arrive in the next quarter or two. 6950 flashed is nothing to scoff at

Wait. No point in adding more cards to an already decent setup. Wait for games to come out that push the card you have to it's limits, then upgrade.

There is plenty out there to push his card to the limits. At this point, it would be difficult for him to add AA and stay above 60FPS.

In that case, I would do nothing, wait save up and buy the 8000 series in a couple of months time.
However it may be helpful for others if you filled out your systemspecs. That can be found in your user CP.
