Exclamation need help on my new Asus crosshair V Formula z

On the board there is a 8 pin EATX12V_1 connector and another separate 4 pin EATX12V_2 connector. Do I need to connect both of these, I haven't seen both and 8 and a 4 pin on the same MB before.

and my xfx pro series 850 psu seem to have to separate 4 pins and can i use that if i need to connect the 8 pin

Thanks for any help!!

System Specs

You do not need to connect both..just the 8-pin is enough, however, if you use both, it should lead to better power delivery, and also lower board temperatures, as the electrical traces from each EPS connector to CPU VRM will each carry less current.
