For me it would be pretty much what I have right now, maybe change the motherboard to a dual socket Z9PE-D8 WS from Asus, maybe get two high clocked 8-core 16-thread Intel Xeons, maybe get a couple of 240GB SSDs (preferably Intel), and maybe a new case that can take EEB.

This is hard to answer though because with unlimited funds I'd probably be swapping/upgrading a part or two like every month. And would have multiple "machines".

Nice topic, Phenom! Thanks. Always good to dream. After all, we don't pay taxes for dreaming (yet ¬¬).
Build: Cooler Master CM Storm Stryker Full Tower Case (mod) Rampage IV Extreme i7 3930K @ 5GHz 4-way GTX680 SLI Corsair AX1200i Patriot Viper 3 Red 2133MHz 4x8GB DDR3 RAM 2x OCZ Vertex 4 256GB SSD's WD Caviar Black 1TB Hard Drive Bitfenix Recon Fan Controller CPU and GPU waterblocked (too lazy to name all the parts. Probably would use 2x 360 radiators with the EK-FC680 blocks and the EK-Supreme HF. Red coolant, clear tubing, nice compression fittings and dual-bay reservoir. Enermax TB Vegas Duo 120mm fans for the radiators). Always good to dream. |
