Yeah I just got the game this week. I LOVE IT. I wish they would do a even bigger/better version with the Frostbyte engine. Its always been a fantasy of mine to do high stake robberies like this game has. Its like playing the movie "Heat".

The game is awesome, we had what, 7 people play the other night? We must have done about 10 missions and failed all of them except 1 which was the last one on the easiest difficulty setting

We're just not cut out for robbing banks...

Would love to play again.

So this is fun? It's on my radar as g2play has it for 47% off. Just kinda sitting on it as I bought FC 3 and The Alan Wake Collection this week. I just can't fault the price to just drop the hammer on it.

Yeah I hear the Co-op is great. That is my preferred MP gaming format. I might have to buy 2 copies so I can drag my Borderlands Co-op partner into it. I have more than a few peeps on my Steam list so I may do alright.

i know $20 isn't a lot of money but once i buy this i doubt anyone will be around to play it in the evenings since most people seem to play it after 11pm eastern

I played this on the free weekend.. I wanted to like it, but there's not a lot of servers playing, and I thought it got boring quick.. and Heat is one of my favorite movies... I guess it could have been better with a good group, but visually it's lacking and losses it appeal after a few rounds for me... I'd wait for it to go back on sale for $5...

The problem with a very hardcore co-op based shooter is A), you get addicted to it, but B) you need at least a few friends whom also are and up for playing at the times you do. Otherwise it can turn into a frustrating cycle of good times mixed with many frustrating ones.

It would have made it a lot better had they at least scaled the sp difficulty, like having Easy mode available on all missions when playing solo. At least then whilst waiting to play with friends you know to be fairly adept, you wouldn't be going through hell failing a lot of missions solo or with players that are clueless.

I give them kudos for great game design though. Just the stuff the AI can do on advanced animation is pretty cool. This is not merely a L4D ripoff, this is the kind of 4 squad co-op game Valve SHOULD have made to begin with. They took what Valve did and improved upon it.
