That you should--if you can run enough WUs on it, it could hit 100k PPD

You absolutely should, join the 79xxs that are loving the work loads. But be mindful of one thing, a stable overclock in gaming doesn't equal a stable gpu in crunching. My cards were gaming stable at ~1100/1500 (default voltage), but crunching I can't push past 1000 (again default voltage) without driver crash or an error in BOINC. All it means is a little initial monitoring

I just found this news post, don't see how I misse it earlier today , but this is pretty awesome indeed. It's a pleasure to be on the team, so come on and join in; we have pie every night

Ya... Here I come. I am going to run my 2500k at 4.2ghz and 7970 at 1000mhz until I get my watercooling loop set up, may take some time. I don't like the idea of that much heat and stress 24/7. Once I get the loop I probably will run in excess of 4.5ghz and 1200mhz combined if all goes to plan.

Now running

That's awesome! With that setup properly optimized, you should have no issue pulling down 100k PPD
