Help! HW for XP media center

Hi. I would like to build a rig using the XP media center edition and i would like to know if this version is 32 bits ...64 bits ...or both? I have all the hardware need to build a custom media center rig with older single core stuff and even AGP card with HDMI. Some places tells that you absolutly need an OEM rig but is it true or i can nstall it on my custom rig?

Thank you !

XP media center is almost (or already) dead. You should use a Linux distribution like XBMC.

Since you're from Montreal you probably speaks french?: http://www.xbmc.fr/download/
If you don't: http://xbmc.org/

XBMCbuntu is a Media Center OS.

I've never know and understood linux even if i tried. I hate these synaptics packages and updates and never understood how to remove the older ones. I will stick to windows. Thx.

WMC is 32 bit. Not really sure what your asking on the other part of your question. But agreed with XBMCbuntu.

You don't need an OEM rig to run anything. You can install it on your custom rig if you so desire.
