Crossfiring
Are you able to crossfire two cards such as a 7970 and 7850 or does it have to be something link 7970 and 7950?

7900 cards can only be crossfired with other 7900 cards, 7800 cards can only be crossfired with other 7800 cards.

Except for the new HD7890, which has a Tahiti LE GPU, that one can be paired with the 7900 series

club3d, powercolor, & maybe HIS made them... or was that 7990s
also, club3d & powercolor are the same company/manufacturer club3d's was a 'joker' named card if i remember, & even worse, they still called it a 7870

alright... thats cool.... next year when price of 7970 goes down ill xfire with my 7950... but what about output? expect the 7950 will drag down the 7970? am i right?
