I get this when I try to upload a picture? Is this an issue with my side or server side?

What I mean is a little more specifically, as in my answer to Buck, below.

Anything along these lines would be great and very helpful, as people would learn what the limits are. EDIT: as I write this, I checked and see that "File extensions allowed: gif, jpg, png, maximum size: 2 MB" is already there, which is very helpful, so the error message could perhaps just repeat this info for those that didn't notice that text at the bottom and are left scratching their heads.
