SSD comparisson

Hey guys. I'm building my own PC and i've bought http://ple.com.au/ViewItem.aspx?Inve...CategoryID=243 for my SSD as people have recommended to me, i noticed though that something like http://ple.com.au/ViewItem.aspx?InventoryItemId=611461 is half the price but also faster. Am i looking at this correctly, is it's speed judged by its Read/write? And what makes the 840 Pro better?

The Samsung one is better hands down,if you want to see which one is faster dont look at the stats the manufacturer claims it has, just looks at some review and compare them.

Oh really :O It says 530 read/390 write whereas others are 550/510 or something around that. So is it not the Read and write speeds that you look at when measuring speed?

When i build my computer, it will be my first time building a computer. I have seen mates do theirs but none had SSD's. Will i need to buy an adapter? The case i bought is the switch 810 and the SSD is of course the samsung 840 pro. I was told the case will often come with an adapter.

Yes, that case supports both 3.5" and 2.5" (SSDs) drives, though a review from Legitreviews says it doesn't allow for 90 degree SATA cables.
