Cinebench needs an upgrade?.

What does 3570K has over 2700K performance wise?. A bit more memory bandwidth and native support for 1600MHz rams?.

How can it beat 2700K!.

2700K:

3570K:

2500K: For Teh LULZ!.

I need some logical answers.

System Specs

The architecture is more mature, and hence more efficient. Intel improved the IPC.

I know that.

Maturating an architecture shouldn't give that much of a boost that it kills 2700K.

More cache, more clock speed and to top it of, HT!.

Lulz added. How it rapes the 2nd gen beast is just... sad.

let's see some stock results, m'kay? Because in my testing, stock 3570k gets 6.06 pts, not 7.8..and OC'd 3570K does, and then, the difference between these two CPUs when oc'ed to the same speed, is nearly all about cache.

Also, the board used will affect results, as not all CPUs get the same turbo profiling, FYI.

Pretty sure they are stock. 2700K and 3570K.

Can you show me any examples?.

Yup. You are right.

Though, it's still crap when it comes to GPU points/utilization.
