Video Card Upgrade from dual 6870's

Thinking about upgrading my video card with my christmas bonus.

Been looking at a gtx 580 classified pro edition

Or the 660ti

Max price range: 400$

Looking for 3gb, 300+ bit type card

I do overclock, and plan to convert to liquid cooling in January for the card

For $400 you can easily get a Nvidia Geforce GTX 670 or a AMD Radeon HD 7970 3GB

yup, there is still a single card at the $400 range, GTX 670/HD 7970 3GB, so go for it. always go for the single card. as long as you have the money

If you have the $400 right now, don't even consider doing dual GPUs

oops i misunderstood the OP., +1 to post above

Annnnnd we have a winner here! I like the HD7970 so much......I bought three!!! Not dissing the GTX670 either, if OP want to go GTX670, especially the one at a bargain price, why the heck not?! Heck, I like the GTX670 a lot as well, so much.....I scored two!
