Board looks a little weak to be OCing but maybe a review will change minds?
*EDIT* Also it shows on amazon to be 165$.... WTF!

It does look barren, and it's a lower-end board with a lower-end chipset so it isn't too exciting for overclocking enthusiasts. However! the lack of SMT components doesn't really mean anything for the quality of the board, just that it doesn't have a lot of extra auxiliary chips, and there could be one big advantage - Intel boards tend to have low power draw versus the enthusiast manufacturers, maybe this one will have especially low power draw. I hope someone tests it even though it's not an especially sexy board.
(btw it's $100+ship at Newegg Intel BOXDZ75ML-45K LGA 1155 Intel Z75 HDMI SATA 6...) |

Still too much for that board. I would prefer this over that intel board
ASRock Z77M LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard = 89.99$ shipped

Are you kidding. Just look at the sata port alignment on the AsROCK. Usually intel boards don't use network/usb controllers made by other manufacturers so all parts are designed to work together at maximum performance and stability sacrificing some features in the same price.

Every Intel board look cheap and deserted on close look...
Their top boards look like 50-70e boards of other vendors. Quaality I'm not sure but I didn't hear some special good words... Intel make excellen CPU and SSD but their boards looks really... |

...crickets.....
You'd think with all that open space Intel might have included at least a single mSATA slot but, heck...two would've fit just fine with one slot a combo mini PCIe.
I realize it would add to the cost but the only reason I'm complaining is the fact I really like the slot layout and want to buy this board for a small but powerful gaming system. The board is marketed as an overclocker but then I read the tech manual at intel.com and I kid you not it says the BIOS only supports lower multiplier.....so between that confusion and lack of mSATA I'm at a stall point. sigh....once again I'm back on the sidelines waiting
