MSI Intros AP2021 All-in-One Desktop

MSI introduced the AP2021 entry-level all-in-one desktop. Featuring a 20-inch 1600 x 900-pixel touchscreen, the AIO ships with a detachable monitor-like stand, which can be replaced with a more touch-oriented tilt stand. The monitor stand allows you to rotate the screen, to switch to a portrait mode. Windows 8 comes pre-installed. Under the hood is an Intel Core i3-3220 dual-core processor (cheaper Pentium G2020 option available), 4 GB of single-channel DDR3 memory, a 500 GB 7200 RPM HDD, tray-in DVD SuperMulti drive, and connectivity/features that include 802.11 b/g/n WLAN, gigabit Ethernet, a multi-format card reader, stereo speakers, and a web-cam. A keyboard and a mouse come included. Depending on the options, the AP2021 should sell for around $700.

Sorry, but this brick looks like it escaped from 1980's, excluding the cathod ray tube...

Seriously, don't they have even a tiny bit of imagination and design or are they just waiting for Apple to walk by and claim such all in one design to be their own with a patent? Stop making ugly shite bricks and invest extra 30 cents into design will ya?

If you have it in an industrial hangar with heavy machinery it is fine. But i wouldn't use this monstrosity in my home, especially not if the desk is not facing the wall. Look at the back of this ugly thing! It's horrible.

Whoever likes their display orientation as "portrait" (information kiosks, data entry, writers, etc.)

I think it looks pretty decent. Doesn't look "sleek", but its a refreshing change from all the shiny surfaces prone to scratches.

Some apparently haven't heard of brushed aluminium imitation. Looks way better than this cheap looking recycled black plastic, yet it doesn't scratch like glossy surfaces...

Was under impression that there is imitation brushed aluminium bit of plastic below the screen, with your standard office matte for bezel.
