If the Z68MB supports it, you're right. 3570K if overclocking or not, getting a K version will have much more resale later.

G1.Sniper3 is a gaming board, and will not clock as well. The G1.Sniper3 has better gaming audio chip. If no OC, then take the G1.SniperM3. If going to OC, with one or two VGA, then UD3H or UD5H is a maybe better choice.

If I were to chose out of the 2 it would be the Z77X-UP7, but with your current setup, it is VERY overkill, unless you plan to get a 3570k or 3770k and clock the dog snot out of it.
My question is why do you want a new board. Whats wrong with what you currently have. You will gain more performance with buying a 3570k or 3770k CPU in the end.

I've loved the UP7 since I first laid eyes on it. One of my dream boards.

okay, well I don't think you need to spend $400 on a board to run 2 or 3 videos in SLI or Cross fire. But thats just me. Seems like a waste.
You could get like a $200-250 board to allow multi card configurations then take the $100+ you dont use towards a UP7 towards a nice SSD or something.

3 way configurations are only (really) good for benching OP (then which you would be getting a 3770K anyway). |
