Well that's it and i hope everyone has fun. And thxs again to manofthem for throwing in the extra games and also the help setting this up with me.

Now since i asked about blonde moments and what not i will share mine.
It happened to me today as i was shoveling snow out in from of our apartment building with a really busy main road next to it. It has been really windy today and i wasn't thinking when i threw this shovel full of snow. Right as I threw the shovel full of snow a big gust of wind came at me at the exact same time. Almost the whole shovel full of snow blew back at me and hit me right in the face. Right as the happened i heard a bunch of car horn's honk and some laughing heard. I must admit i was embarrassed. But to the other people seeing this must have been really funny. Anyways there's my story and i have rambled on long enough now let us all hear yours.

Again Have fun!

Entering for the darkness 2 or DNF (if im allowed to pick more than one).

My fail moment would be a couple of years ago when slept in and nearly missed a Geology exam, I sprinted across campus (normally a 20 min walk) and made it in half an hour late, shamefully requesting an exam. Still managed to do well tho

My story is from just before Christmas holiday/vacation time in December of last year.
I had been eyeballing a new role within the company(as well as being nudged by a co-worker to apply). I decided to put my name in and an updated resume/progress folder in hopes of an interview before I left for the break. Things were coming down to the wire, with no response from Human Resources until two days before I was set to leave. I accepted the meeting request on our network and got my notes/things ready then headed up stairs to board room six, whistling a tune with a bounce in my step.

In the room was one of the junior sales managers, whom was also attending the interview. He said the big boss would be in shortly - he was running behind on some extra curricular stuff.
After about ten minutes he said "Forget it, let's do a prelee (his sales speak for "preliminary") and I'll bring the big guy up to speed tomorrow." So he sat back and reclined in these very cushy very high range chairs. Remember these plush bits of furniture, they'll be relevant later.

Meeting went well, after thirty minutes I stood up to shake his hand and dropped my pen between the crack in the center piece of the table where there's a gap for projector cabling.

Little did I know two things were about to happen.

A) He sat back down ..not a crime I know, but stay with me and remember the reclining chair.
B) The big boss had been doing a video log /blog of the new meeting system on the network, going around different rooms with a camera and on the spot asking people how the experience was - getting some feedback.

So here I am, now having got down under the desk to retrieve my pen, and the door flies open to a raucous boss saying 'HOW WAS THE NEW NETWORK....' as he sees my ass moving quickly backwards from under the desk (hit my head too, typical), and his junior boss leaning back in the comfy chair with a smile on his face.

Needless to say he got the wrong impression that I had been signing with more than one pen that afternoon.

as i left work on a delivery, i saw a shirtless man running around on the road.

as i came back, i saw him having sex with a drunk woman against the wall of a building, while their toddler was left unattended in the drive-through of a nearby business.

this was at 6pm in full daylight. the embarassing part was when they noticed me staring blankly at them from the traffic lights next to them

entering for whatever. i just like entering.

So here goes: It's my second time overclocking--this time, I'm helping a friend with a Q6600, nV 650i SLI board, and two 8600GTS cards. Now, the nV 6x0i chipsets are infamously bad, so we try for something small--a 2.7GHz OC. We also decided that we were going to pull the system out of the case and put it on a cardboard box in the windowsill. It barely gets cold here in NC, but it is January, and it's maybe 35 degrees outside, so we figured that this would help. Now, this should be simple enough--even a G31 board can usually manage 3GHz or so. Well, we assemble everything on the cardboard box, and nothing. We spent the next hour and a half reassembling everything and trying to get stuff to work (including pulling apart a spare Pentium D system for parts) and we get nothing. It appears that we've just killed the board. The board was close to $150, and when you're 14, that's traumatizing. Now, the Asus 650i board that we're using uses a card that has to be flipped around for SLI/single card:

It turns out that while we're moving the system, the board got bumped, and the card popped out a bit. Reseating the card fixed the problem, and we hit an (amazing, at least for us) 2.85GHz

Count me in for Duke Nukem!

Don't let it get you down though, perhaps most already have these titles. Either way, it's appreciated by the community, and whoever does win will be happy

Idk what was up that day I was to young to drink/smoke. After i hit that car I felt kinda disorientated and I even said to my self WTH am I so dumb or what?! lol xD

I'll enter for metro2033.

I once had to go to use a sink when I was taking a walk. I entered into a subway and knocked on the bathroom door. Nobody answered. I entered into the bathroom and there was a guy sitting on the toilet. I said "hi," and washed my hands and walked out without even thinking. He stared at me the entire time with a freaked out look.

in for bioshock 1

Whilst overclocking and using uefi bios for the frst time I put +0.5v instead of 0.05v through my new i5 2500k a while ago and completely fried it, wouldn't even run at stock settings without BSOD, that's my most embarassing IT problem lol though I have many MANY more embarassing drunken moments that happen on a regular basis, though they might not be suitable lol oh and being British and polite I opened a door at work to walk through and someone was walking from the other direction so I apologised, let them walk through first and even thanked them for the privilege haha
