Swimming in the Ocean!!

this is the parts I'm going for right now

Radiator = XSPC EX360 Triple Fan Radiator (black)
CPU = EK Supremacy - Full Nickel CPU Block (It does say it's compatible with LGA 2011 hoping this one has mounting stuff for LGA2011)
Pump = Swiftech MCP655-B Water Cooling Pump or the one with speed control (Depends on Avalability)
Reservoir = Acrylic Tank Reservoir for Laing D5 or MCP 655 = (is this alright?)
Tube = TFC Feser UV Blue Tubing 1/2 ID 3/4OD
Compression Fittings 1/2 ID to 3/4 OD G1/4" = around 8 to 10 piece

are the sizes of the tubes and other stuff fits together?

I'm thinking of getting those bent fittings (forgot what to call it) just in case I need them. around 2 or 4

Personally you are wasting money water cooling memory. It yields near zero benefits and you will just be throwing money away.

oh then I'll skip on that, for now is it ok to have a 1x120mm top rad, 1x120mm rad back and another 1x120mm rad bot??I plan on extreme OC

so far I saw this vid just now before I head to work and it seems informative.

sounds like a bit of a waste to have 3 120 rads, when you can just get one big 360 rad mount it on the back of your case outside and be done with it. Having all those radiators will be restrictive too. Better to get the biggest rad you can IMO

right now I'm on a break sorry about the typo above I mean 2x120mm rad top, 120mm rad back and 120mm rad bot, but yeah I think I'll go with a external 480mm rad 4x120mm outside the case, but hmm I'm also thinking of putting a rad on the top of the case just for the gist of it.. btw how about this rad??? I think it's good quality.

do I still need to buy kiillcoil? I plan on using distilled water thought.

I'm thinking of getting this block

http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=21955246

based on here it does allow LGA2011 socket

Ok, all I see is a lot of smoke here. Going with multiple 120 rads makes your cooling restrictive. I will make it simple. 1 x 120.3 rad i all you need to dissipate the heat.

@drdeathx
was planning on going two 120mm rad on back and bot and a 2x120mm rad on top but now I'm thinking of going with a tripe or quad 120mm rad outside the case and maybe stick another 2x120mm rad on top.

I'll update the post above about the other parts XD.

edit: still listing some parts but do you think this is good?? EK-Supreme HF-Acetal+Nickel CPU Water Block

still need more input and information, I'll go check review on those items too.

edit: done updating my post above, hope more people help.

edit: btw I haven't tried any watercooling yet so I'm here for advice as I don't really know much besides some guides I read around.

You don't need the second 2 x 120 rad. The trip or quad 120 will be plenty.

ok I'm set on the trip the quad (some how the quad rad is almost 50$ more expensive so I'll skip on that) (edit the trip quad, i meant the trip is set and the quad is expensive)

EK Supremacy - Full Nickel CPU Block (It does say it's compatible with LGA 2011) = 5500
XSPC X2O 750 Dual 5.25 Bay Reservoir Pump (I think this is a combo for res and pump) = 3500

how about the nickel block? is it good? and the xspc x20 is it the same as I think it is? res with a pump inside so I don't need a pump? or do i still need the pump I put above?

The Quad rad is still overkill. A triple 120 rad will do fine. I ran a trip 120 with 3930K and 2 x 7970's with not problems and good temps. Make sure you get a quality rad. I run a MCP655 on all my setups with a seperate res. The MCP655's are rocks and run forever.

MCP655 and D5 are same pumps(rebranded). Vario is adjustable speed. res is fine. If you want to save space and money, the Swiftec micro res is good.

The vario version just allows you to adjust the speed, so you can running it quieter.

It should do the job. Personally I would prefer a 5.25 Bay res.

If you want to have 2 loops in your system, it just allows you to have the pumps together, mostly and aesthetics and space saving thing. You can also get a pump top like that, that allows you to use 2 pumps in one loop.

If I were to use the EK-D5 Dual TOP 2-LOOPS does that mean I use 2 reservoir??
currently googling a pic for it, to get some idea

edit: I saw this

Some information regarding XSPC Tube.
XSPC 1/2" ID High Flex Tubing

- 1/8" (3mm) Wall Thickness
- 3/4" (19mm) Outer Diameter
- Stain Resistant
- Max Temperature 60ºC
- Min Temperature -32ºC
- Designed for use with 1/2" barbs

XSPC 3/8" ID High Flex Tubing
- 3/8" (10mm) Inner Diameter
- 1/8" (3mm) Wall Thickness
- 5/8" (16mm) Outer Diameter
- Stain Resistant
- Max Temperature 60ºC
- Min Temperature -32ºC
- Designed for use with 3/8" barbs

XSPC 7/16" ID High Flex Tubing
- 7/16" (11.1mm) Inner Diameter
- (2.4mm) Wall Thickness
- 5/8" (15.9mm) Outer Diameter
- Stain Resistant
- Max Temperature 60ºC
- Min Temperature -32ºC
- Designed for use with 1/2" barbs

can you guys tell me how to know which tubing I need?

what do you think of this tubing?
http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=8669170
Primochill Primoflex LRT Pro 3/8 x 5/8 (black) ( hope there is blue )

is it good? does it fit properly on this parts

Radiator = XSPC EX360 Triple Fan Radiator (black) =3900
CPU = EK Supremacy - Full Nickel CPU Block (It does say it's compatible with LGA 2011) = 5500
Pump = Swiftech MCP655-B Water Cooling Pump= 5000
Res = Acrylic Tank Reservoir for Laing D5 or MCP 655 = 2300
or
Res = XSPC Acrylic Dual 5.25 Bay Reservoir (Alu Front) = 3300 (Btw this one fits fine right with the mcp655)

?? so far these are the parts I like and hope works well with one another. (btw I plan on buying that curve tube thingy that you place on blocks to make a curve) but not sure which one yet.

The tubing size depends on the look you want, and the fittings you buy. This is the one thing you are missing, fittings. Those are the barbs/compression fittings that allow the tubing to go onto your different parts. Personally, I prefer the tubing you have chosen, the 3/8 ID and 5/8 OD. As it isn't very big, but isn't restrictive. Anything that says D5 will fit the 655 fine.

1/2 barbs on what? If he goes for the bay res/pump combo, it's a custom pump top too

Just a thing for Cotton_Cup. That bay res you linked(http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=21972817), You may want to call up and ask about it, as the product page is a little sketchy. It shows a picture for the reservoir that fits the ddc pump, not the D5. The specs on the website say it's for a D5. The link they provide to the XSPC website, links to just a normal reservoir, with no pump mount in it.

Yeah, but you need fittings on the res/pump. That what he is talking about. How do you expect water to go in and out of it?

OP: Get 1/2 ID tubing with 1/2 ID Barbs or Compression fittings.

nah, they are solid plastic, only way to put your own fittings on it to get a drill bit, and a G1/4 inch screw tap, and make your own screw in points.
