VK3601H, I think that is the best tank I have unlocked so far (other than noobkilling Marder II). Better armour than your regular medium, faster than a heavy, gun(88/56) accurate enough to snipe and enough damage to brawl. I thought this is going to be a grindfest like VK3001P, but this tank is a keeper. Only problem is getting 1shotted by derpguns, but there is little I can do about that.

3601 with Konisch gun and gold-ammo before nerf it was a killing machine.
But even with regular AP rounds I always liked VK3601H.

Me too, although I was happy to sacrifice some of that armour for the 3001H's mobility, I loved that tank! Shame the next on the tech tree after it is the Panther.

Going to try the T71 for the first time tonight, just grinded the T21 to get there..... 60K experience for a light tank!

And you were skeptical before when I was talking about that tank...

It says a lot about the tank when I got my only Lehvaslaiho's Medal with it (by killing a T34 and IS-6 with it).

You would too if you have been using the VK3601P. Have been taking advantage of the extra credit weekend, I am a few hundred thousand off before I get my new kitten :3

After that its only Panther left to complete my litter.

Panther is a Pig not a kitten Decent medium, decent armour but not fast enough and a weak gun (reasonable pen but crap damage) for a Tier 7, hard grind to Panther II then even more dissapointment!

Ah thanks for the heads up. I will probably stop and enjoy VK3001H instead then, I heard that is a pretty capable tank. Probably will tech up TD and arty lines after that. StuG III is pretty good if your team can cover you properly, and it can hold down a lane for quite some time until KV-1 derps you.

Except you can equally be matched up against Tier 6s and 7s...

Agreed, and some tier 6 tanks can pretty much one shot a Stug, let alone tier 7's.

One shot from front, I might add. In games like this (more often than not sadly), I will just scoot off somewhere and hide, the 150mm penetration of 7.5cm is sufficiently strong enough to punch through a surprising amount of tier 7 sides, and if you are careful enough the good camo will ensure that you stay hidden. Damage can be better (as usual for all German tanks I think). Even if it bounces a shot from a hidden tank is enough to make that KV3 think twice before he continues his push.

That said, I will prefer to be sitting in a Pz IV if I am faced against tier 6 or 7 opponents. More mobility is always a plus when you have an IS going after your life.

Just played my StuG III earlier, luckily the M4 1945 (French tier 7 heavy) failed to one-shot me (only did 203 damage), allowing me to hit the JagdPz. IV with him twice (with arty dealing the killing shot shortly afterwards). He still killed me once he reloaded though.

I killed a Tiger II last night in my T21 with its 75mm gun giving 120mm pen only, just circled him and took him down from 720HP to nothing, sometimes it helps to know where to hit them

If I have that luxury of running around in circles with StuG III. With the StuG you can only hit what they show you, and during pub games they like to show off their beautiful asses

With PzIV I can do that all day around those big fat clumsy heavies

Yeah but a PIV only does 40-45km?, you would struggle with some who have decent traverse rates.

The Pz III/IV is faster with just a slight reduction in armor. The Pz IV's main advantage over it is being able to use the 105mm. And 10 more hitpoints.

Disagree..... in so much as the 75mm long is a better gun than the 105 IMO.

Pz III/IV can't use the 105mm. Pz IV can use the 105mm, therefore the IV has an advantage over the III/IV by being able to use the 105mm.

Both of them can use the 75mm L/48, therefore neither of them is 'advantaged' nor 'disadvantaged' with that gun. Hence why I didn't mention it at all.

Ahhhhh just checked, the PIV used to get the L70 75mm but as you can see I have not played it for about 18 months, obviously they nerfed it some time ago.... I'll shut up now!

Played both the III/IV and the IV, both of them have more or less the same game style. Acceleration the IV is not going to lose much against the III, same story with the general agility. What makes me like the IV more than the III/IV is the extra 20mm front, at 300m it can be a lifesaver if you cannot hull down. Shouldn't expose the sides at all, so the extra 30mm side doesn't really come to play much unless you are losing. I started off with the IV so I have a better crew and understanding of that vehicle. If I am going to make the choice again I will go down the III/IV route, its a lot more forgiving. 35t and 58t are both fighting vehicles but the 38na is a scout, and IV is a sniper/flanker. PzII, IIIA and III are all speed demons, and the playstyle doesnt change much.

Steam is not needed here. There are also different servers for different regions. I'm WoT SEA for example, and the Americans are obviously going to be in the NA server, while the Europeans play in the EU server. Each server also have unique game files so you can't fluidly switch servers (you'll have to have separate installations for that).
